Job description
We are currently looking to recruit a Despatch Co-Ordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for packing and arranging carriage of all our manufactured products for domestic and export shipping. A key part of the role is ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
– Effectively packing consignments to ensure goods arrive undamaged in a cost effective manner.
– Forward planning and attending Production Meetings.
– Creating effective working relationships with the EMCEL team, drivers and courier contacts.
– Working out pallet and crate sizes and quantities.
– Liaising with couriers for collection and delivery of goods.
– Communicating with other departments including Sales and Quality regarding packing instructions, budgets, and delivery arrangements.
– Preparing and filing despatch documentation in relation to daily collections

Successful candidates will have:
– Previous experience in a Despatch Department
– Good levels of Computer Literacy and Numeracy
– Practical, with good problem solving
– Good telephone manner.
– Good at working as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Warehouse Based, Immediate start available
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08.00-17.00, Friday: 08.00-1300

Salary and Benefits:
• £12.50-£14.00 per hour depending on experience
• Pension Contributions

Experience and Education:
• GCSE or equivalent (desirable)
• Full, clean driving licence (desirable)
• Forklift experience (desirable)
